Most EV charger relocations start from £950 fully installed for a standard scope: safe removal from your current property and reinstallation at your new home (up to 5m cable run at the new address). This includes a dedicated EV circuit at the new property, full testing, certification, and DNO notification. If the new property requires longer cable runs, protective upgrades, supply alterations or load management, we confirm the scope and agree the final price before work begins.
We isolate, disconnect and remove the charger correctly, leaving the existing installation safe. The original circuit is properly terminated and made safe — not simply cut and left.
Every property is different. Before reinstalling your charger, we assess earthing, bonding, supply characteristics and demand at the new address to ensure the charger is correctly protected and compliant with current regulations.
After installation at the new property, we complete full electrical testing using calibrated equipment, followed by functional chargepoint checks and commissioning. Certification is issued and DNO notification is completed as standard.
Relocations are treated as a proper installation at the new address. Your charger is reinstalled to current regulations, fully tested, certified and notified to the DNO as standard — so you can charge daily with confidence.
